As someone who has attempted suicide, and has had friends try it as well, this stamp is very true.
Suicide is a serious thing. People at my college make fun of it. I get bullied for my own attempt. I slit my wrists because depression caught up with me... I spent quite a while in the hospital. It's not a joke. Nor will it ever be.
Suicide can rattle someone severely. One of my irl friends knew someone who committed suicide, and my friend was so shaken he had to stop coming to school for w while to grieve.
